Product Description

OBIC 2230 HyperSeal Grout is a water activated, flexible, hydrophilic polyurethane injection grout. HyperSeal Grout is used to repair leaks in large and small cracks in wastewater and other structures with continuous water exposure.

Typical Use:

OBIC 2230 HyperSeal Grout is typically applied directly to leaks. Crack injection: Drill holes at approximately 45o angle to intersect the application site about half the depth of the crack. Drill holes on either side of the crack and install injection packers in the holes.

  • Inject OBIC 2230 HyperSeal Grout into cracks or joints in concrete, starting at the bottom and working upward throughout the structure as needed.
  • Pipe seal: Drill holes at approximately 45 degree angle to access the area next to the pipe. Inject grout to seal annular space around pipe.
  • Can be injected directly into construction joints of structures.

Product Highlights

OBIC 2230 HyperSeal Grout is a hydrophilic grout. It seeks water in large and small cracks. It reacts with water, within 30 seconds of water contact a foam begins to form. The foam solidifies in minutes. The foam expands many times initial volume to fill voids.

OBIC 2230 HyperSeal Grout has an excellent adhesion to concrete and other substrates.

Single component system applied using a standard caulk gun.
